synopsis

A Fall from Grace tells that Grace Waters, a respected member of her community in Virginia, remains composed when her ex-husband marries his mistress and her son moves away. Encouraged by her friend Sarah (Phylicia Rashad), she decides to focus on her own happiness and unexpectedly falls in love with a charming man (Mehcad Brooks). However, her new husband soon becomes abusive, causing chaos in Grace's life and leading many to question her sanity. As she sits in jail, awaiting trial for his murder, Grace's only hope for vindication is Jasmine Bryant (Bresha Webb), a public defender who has never tried a case before.
