Watch Black Gold
(2011)Black Gold tells that in early 20th-century Arabia, Emir Nesib and Sultan Amar bring an end to their longstanding war through a peace treaty that designates the "Yellow Belt" as neutral territory. Amar's sons, Saleh and Auda, are raised alongside Nesib's children in Hobeika as a symbol of their agreement. Years later, the discovery of oil in the Yellow Belt presents Nesib with an opportunity to modernize his tribe. However, the Texas Oil Company's violation of the peace agreement sparks tensions. Saleh's tragic encounter with his father drives Prince Auda to make a crucial decision in a region teetering on the brink of conflict.
