synopsis

Detention primarily tells the story of a group of invaders who, under the leadership of the talented and sadistic Chester Lam, are surprised to find Sam and the kids from detention still inside the school. The killers ruthlessly track teachers and students through the hallways and classrooms while Lam tracks them on the surveillance cameras, making the school's security system his prey as the pursuit continues. Sam and the kids team up, managing to fight back against the armed thugs and foil Lam's carefully planned crime. Along the way, they discover a sinister conspiracy involving not only the police department but even the highest levels of government.
