(1991)Dingo is a drama directed by Rolf de Heer in 1991. One night in February 1969, a jet plane hovered over the plains outside a small town in the Australian countryside. John Anderson, nicknamed Dingo because he allowed himself to bark like a wild dog, swarmed in with a crowd of local people as if they were flying saucers. Here, Dingo hears a jazz band playing that he will never forget. When he wakes up the next day, the band and the jet are reduced to dust. It's like a sci-fi dream. Twenty years have passed in an instant. He got married and had a child. He thought his life would be over. He was not reconciled. So he followed his last dream. He bought a plane ticket and arrived in Paris. He began to search aimlessly for Billy in major cities. Cross and his band. But the sixties had flown by, he hadn't played in public for years, and the whole world had moved on to a new planet. The wild dogs could no longer recognize him, but one day he entered the bar and heard the sound of the trumpet. Yes, the voice began to call him again. At this time, his dreams were no longer just childish ravings. So he set off.. "Australian Jazz Spring and Autumn" has finally fulfilled the director's dream for many years because it is Miles Davis who plays Billy, a swan song before he is close to death.
