synopsis

Eye for an Eye tells that Karen McCann's eldest daughter is raped and murdered while on the phone with her. The case against Robert Doob, the perpetrator, is dismissed due to a technicality. In an attempt to seek justice, Karen starts following Doob and witnesses him targeting his next victim, a woman he delivers groceries to. Despite warning the police and attempting to warn the woman, Karen is dismissed and told to stop following Doob. Things escalate when Doob threatens Karen's youngest daughter, prompting her to seek help from a group of vigilantes associated with a support group. They plan to shoot Doob, but Karen's involvement catches the attention of an FBI agent investigating the vigilante activity. Meanwhile, Karen's husband Mack is unaware of her self-defense classes and gun training, causing tension between them. When Doob is released again for lack of evidence after another attack, Karen lures him into her home and kills him in self-defense.
