Watch G.I. Jane
(1997)As a political pawn, naval intelligence officer O'Neil became the first female officer to participate in the U.S. Navy SEALs training. This event helped Senator DiHawen, who had been advocating for gender equality, win many votes. However, DiHawen, driven by personal gain, did not care about O'Neil's feelings and experiences as an individual, because she knew that O'Neil could not possibly complete the brutal and terrifying training in the special forces. To everyone's surprise, O'Neil not only completed the training task with outstanding performance but also had the possibility of becoming an official member of the special forces through the final exam. At this critical juncture, DiHawen had to resort to dirty tricks and expelled O'Neil from the team on false grounds of being a homosexual. With the help of friends, O'Neil exposed DiHawen's conspiracy and, in a real combat mission, demonstrated her wisdom and abilities, earning the respect of her peers.
