synopsis

Holiday in Handcuffs tells that Gertrude, also known as "Trudie," is a struggling artist who loses both her job and her boyfriend on Christmas Eve. Determined to prove to her family that she's not the black sheep they believe her to be, Trudie hatches a plan to kidnap the charming and handsome David Martin and bring him to her family's luxurious log cabin for the holidays. Despite David's protests that he's not Trudie's ex-boyfriend Nick, Trudie's outrageous lies and the secluded location prevent him from escaping or convincing her family otherwise. As David gets to know Trudie and her family, he begins to realize that he may have feelings for her. Meanwhile, Trudie must confront her own feelings for David and come to terms with her past mistakes. Eventually, the truth is revealed, and David and Trudie are forced to decide whether their newfound love is worth fighting for.
