synopsis

Meg Murphy's family runs a historic hotel and she believes her family is cursed with bad luck. the Murphy Hotel, which was once a grand establishment but is now on the brink of financial ruin. Meg's mother, who is the hotel manager, decides to hire a man named Jinx to help turn the hotel's fortunes around. Jinx is believed to bring good luck wherever he goes, starts to work his magic and things start to improve. However, Meg soon discovers that Jinx's lucky streak is only temporary and the family's bad luck begins to return. Meg and Jinx must then stick together to break the curse and save the hotel from ruin.
