synopsis

Love Jones is a 1997 romantic drama movie directed by Theodore Witcher and stars Larenz Tate, Nia Long, Isaiah Washington, and Bill Bellamy. Aspiring black poet Darius (Larenz Tate) and beautiful and talented photographer Nina (Nia Long) fall in love after a chance meeting at a Chicago club. The two formed an enduring bond through music, photography and poetry. However, this fiery love affair becomes in jeopardy when Nina decides to move to New York City and tinker with her relationship with ex-fiance Marvin (kalil Kain).
