Watch Madeline
(1998)Madeline is an orphan attending a Catholic boarding school in Paris led by the strict but caring nun, Miss Clavel. She falls ill with appendicitis and meets Lady Covington, who asks Madeline to find her name carved on a bed frame in the dorm. After Lady Covington's death, the school faces closure and the Spanish ambassador moves in next door with his spoiled son, Pepito. Madeline enlists Pepito's help to sabotage the closure, leading to their friendship. When Lord Covington discovers their actions, he releases Madeline's beloved dog and blames Miss Clavel. Madeline runs away to join the circus, unwittingly stumbling upon a kidnapping plot involving Pepito. With the help of Miss Clavel and Genevieve, they escape their kidnappers and return to the school. Lord Covington reveals that he has sold the property to the ambassador of the Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. Madeline convinces the ambassador to back out of the sale, saving the school. The film ends with a montage of the girls attending a fair and the word "Fin".
