(2004)Modigliani tells that taking place in 1919 Paris. This biographical film revolves around the final days of Italian artist Amedeo Modigliani, highlighting his intense rivalry with Pablo Picasso. Modigliani, a Jewish artist, falls deeply in love with Jeanne, a beautiful Catholic woman. Their relationship is tested when Jeanne's prejudiced parents send their illegitimate child to a distant convent. Determined to rescue and provide for his child, Modigliani seizes an opportunity to participate in Paris' prestigious art competition, offering substantial prize money and a guaranteed career. Despite their initial disdain for such competitions, both Modigliani and Picasso enter the race, igniting a citywide frenzy to determine the victor. As Modigliani's relationship with Jeanne hangs in the balance, he pours his heart into creating a masterpiece, aware that every artist in Paris is striving for the same.
