synopsis

Maria met a hunter in the forest, fell in love with him, and got a garnet. She waited to be reunited with him. Meanwhile, Mary Lou and her mother planned to marry the prince, who was looking for a girl wearing a garnet necklace.Mary Lou realized that the prince is the same hunter they met in the forest and gives Maria the necklace she threw into the well. Mary-Lou was tricked into asking for her stone back. Both girls fell into the well. They set out on a journey to find Mrs. Holly, the one who brought the garnet home with her.
