synopsis

One Crazy Summer tells that Hoops McCann dreams of a basketball scholarship, but his true passion lies in writing and illustrating love stories. Invited by his friend George to spend the summer on Nantucket, Hoops embarks on a Crazy Summer filled with unexpected adventures. Their journey takes a wild turn when they encounter Cassandra, who is being pursued by a motorcycle gang. On the island, Hoops, George, and their newfound friends must join forces to save Cassandra's grandfather's house from the greedy Beckersted Family. Amidst the chaos, Hoops strives to bring his cartoon love story to life while also discovering a love story of his own.
