synopsis

Oscar Diggs, a morally ambiguous circus magician, is transported from his humdrum life in Kansas to the vibrant Land of Oz. Initially, he's convinced that he has struck gold and can achieve fame and fortune effortlessly. However, his plans are challenged when he encounters three witches - Theodora, Evanora, and Glinda - who doubt his claim of being the long-awaited great wizard. Reluctantly, Oscar becomes involved in the grand issues facing the Land of Oz and its inhabitants. He must distinguish between good and evil and act before it's too late. Using his expertise in magic, quick thinking, and a touch of wizardry, Oscar not only transforms himself into the powerful Wizard of Oz but also into a better human being.
