synopsis

Ellison Oswalt was a famous crime novel writer more than ten years ago. In order to find inspiration, he moved into the haunted house where murders took place again and again. Today, in order to restore the glory of the past, he moved into a haunted house with his wife, Tracy, and two children. While cleaning up the attic, he stumbled upon a roll of home video tapes, which recorded the happy moments of the house's former owner's family and the tragic scenes of them being hanged from a tree. In the days that followed, he watched the tapes over and over again, looking for clues about criminals, and tracing clues in every corner of the house.
