synopsis

Kevin Lomax, a successful and ambitious attorney from Florida, is approached by the world's most powerful law firm and offered an irresistible job opportunity. Despite his mother's objections about New York City, he takes the job and the high salary that comes with it. However, his wife begins to experience homesickness and terrifying visions. Meanwhile, Kevin becomes engrossed in his work and neglects his wife. He starts to feel uneasy about his boss and mentor, John Milton, who always seems to have a solution to every problem.
