Watch The Fisher King
(1991)The Fisher King tells that Jack Lucas used to be a conceited and self-important New York City talk show host. He faces a severe personal and professional decline after a flippant comment he made to one of his regular callers led to the caller committing murder. Three years later, Jack finds himself alone and desperate, relying only on his girlfriend Anne, who runs a video store. One day, he meets Parry, a seemingly insane homeless man who suffers from hallucinations about the Fisher King and an obsession with the Holy Grail. Jack learns about Parry's past and becomes determined to help him find happiness by playing matchmaker with Lydia Sinclair, a woman that Parry admires from afar. Jack believes that by helping Parry, he can also find redemption and rebuild his own life. However, he may soon realize that his past as a talk show host wasn't as virtuous as he thought it was.
