synopsis

The General is a 1926 movie directed by Clyde Bruckman, Buster Keaton. During the American Civil War, after Union spies stole engineer Johnnie Gray's beloved locomotive "The General" and Johnnie's lover boarded an attached boxcar, he must single-handedly do his best to retake the General and rescue Anna Bell.
