synopsis

The Gunman tells that Terrier, a skilled sniper working for a mercenary assassination team, carries out a successful hit on the minister of mines in the Congo on behalf of an anonymous client. But when the assassination sparks chaos and violence in the already troubled country, Terrier and his team are forced to go into hiding to protect themselves from retribution. This means abandoning his girlfriend without explanation. Years later, Terrier returns to the Congo to work for an NGO, but soon discovers that he is the target of a hit squad linked to the minister's assassination. As he tries to unravel the mystery of who wants him dead, Terrier reconnects with his former teammates, including his ex-girlfriend, and uncovers a web of deceit and danger that threatens everyone around him. Meanwhile, his violent past has left him with a deteriorating brain condition, complicating his efforts to stay alive and find redemption. The reemergence of his old team reveals even more treacherous plots with deadly consequences, leading to a twisted and inevitable endgame.
