synopsis

In a world where honesty prevails, Mark Bellison is struggling as a short, unattractive screenwriter who is about to lose his job. He's also hopelessly in love with Anna, who he knows he could never have because of his physical appearance. One day, on a whim, he tells a lie that shocks everyone around him. Later, when his mother is dying and terrified of what comes next, Mark creates a fictional account of the afterlife to comfort her. The hospital staff overhear his invented tale and spread it, suddenly Mark is revered as a prophet. His newfound success as a writer makes him rich, but will it be enough for him to win Anna's heart?
