synopsis

It relates the tale of the Shoshone people, the last "free" Native Americans, who lived in a remote valley in the 1860s during the American Civil War. It is a remake of a Native American movie that was first released 100 years ago. They were discovered and compelled to leave their dwellings by a gang of squatters and Union soldiers. They went from one valley to another as the Union captured more and more land to exterminate this "barbarian" nation and all Native Americans. But there is optimism as the band makes a fresh start.
